  • Data on your license to practice, specialties, professional affiliations, publications, accreditations and other professional achievements.
  • Adverse event data
  • Data relating to your use of our products, your interactions with us and the services you provide to patients.

We may also collect personal data from other sources such as data processing companies, public databases, marketing partners, social networking platforms and other third parties.

You have the right to refuse to provide your Personal Data if we ask you to do so. However, if you choose not to provide the information we need to provide you with the requested services, we may not be able to provide those services to you.

Interaction with you as a Healthcare Professional includes the following:

  • Verify your eligibility to access certain products, services and data that may only be made available to certain healthcare professionals.
  • Interact with you based on your expertise and professional opinion by digital or other means.
  • Include you in programs/panels with healthcare professionals.
  • Contact you to benefit from your professional expertise, for example, in connection with surveys about products or services of a Pfizer entity or professional partner.
  • Collaborate with you on events, publications, or medical advisory meetings.
  • To obtain your views on products and services promoted by us, an affiliate, or a professional partner for the purposes of development and improvement).
  • To enable you to participate in special programs, activities, events or promotions as part of our contractual relationship with you or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.

In these cases, we may use your personal information in other ways that are communicated in connection with these special programs, activities, events or promotions.

  • To conduct our business, to comply with our legal obligations and to serve our legitimate interests relating to the management of our business.

HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA

We disclose Personal Data in the following ways:

  • To our third-party service providers to provide services such as Application hosting, data analysis, IT and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email, audit and other services.

  • To other companies with whom we work on certain products or services. This may include our co-promotion partners for products that we jointly develop and/or market.
  • Companies that were formerly part or all the Pfizer group of companies to whom we provide services during a transition period following the separation.
  • When you post information or documents on forums, chat rooms, profile pages, blogs and other services.

In addition, we use and disclose your Personal Information if we consider it necessary or appropriate to do so:

  • To comply with applicable law or our regulatory monitoring and reporting obligations (which may include laws other than those of your country of residence), to respond to requests from public and government authorities (which may include authorities outside your country of residence), to cooperate with law enforcement, or for other lawful purposes.

  • To protect our rights, our confidential information, our security and our assets and/or those of our subsidiaries, yours or those of others.

MARKETING CONTROL

If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, please contact us as set out in the "Contact Us" section. Some Applications also allow you to change your preferences in your profile or account. Please include your name and the addresses at which you no longer wish to be contacted in your request. If you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we may still send you important administrative messages. You cannot unsubscribe from these messages.

Some Applications allow you to change your profile.

We take reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

SHELF LIFE

We will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary or permitted considering the purpose or purposes for which it was collected and as set out in this Privacy Policy. The determination of the retention period will be based on the following criteria: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and are providing the Application to you; (ii) whether we are subject to any legal obligation; or (iii) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (in relation to enforcement of the terms and conditions of use of the Application, applicable statutes of limitation, litigation or regulatory investigations).

USE BY MINORS

The Application is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of eighteen (18). If you are under the age of consent in your jurisdiction, you will need the permission of your parent or legal guardian to use the Application. If you provide us with personal information about anyone under the age of eighteen (18), you represent that you have the necessary authority to do so and can provide proof of such authority upon Pfizer’s request.
